Mosaic Optometry is the local optometrist office in Courtenay. We carry eyeglasses comprising of lenses and frames, as well as contact lenses, safety glasses, and sunglasses. Our frame lines include Dolce and Gabbana, Fysh, Kliik, Flexon, Ray-Ban, Oakley, Nike, Stepper, Maui Jim, and much more. We use a variety of lenses from Essilor (Varilux) and Hoya. We carry polarized and Transitions lenses too. Our optometrists are highly trained in ocular health and often-comanage patients with any of the ophthalmologists in Courtenay, Vancouver Island, and British Columbia in general. The practice was started in the early 1970’s by Dr. Gansner and then Dr. Mary Lynn DesRoches. Our current optometrists include Drs. Alex Kennedy, Laura Thomasen, Carla Bunn, and Tammy Mui.
